How to make more points in slyph arena

So from this picture you can see i have my main team on for slyph arena. And the points i would gain from beating opponent... So what you need to do is, find a team that you can beat, like for me in the above picture, then what u need to do is...
... remove main team, and replace with a weaker slyph, doesn't really matter if its one or three slyphs. Now all you do is wait for a few hours (go to work) or something. When u come back, the team you have chosen to beat should be offering more points for a win.. At this time i don't have a screen shot off that.. I will add one when i do have one.
