Hi guild, I'd like to invite you to the newly created last.fm group for our guild. Why a new group? Well, Aka introduced a facebook group for Arda, but as FB's ToS don't sit well with me (and some more people too), I chose to open that one, as last.fm does respect their users' privacy. Those who are in for FB can still connect it with last.fm and participate in both platforms. What is last.fm? Very simple: A community of music lovers with tons of good stuff and nice people around. How to get in? Step #1: Register on www.last.fm, this will grant you access to the platforms features like joining groups. Step #2: Search for the Group Wartune's Arda and join - the more the merrier (couldn't name it simply Arda, as there seems to be a band by this name which already has a group there) I hope I'll see you there soon PS.: Thanks to Jina for advising me to post it here

Hello Cio,
I don't find how to join a group exactly...
Edit: ok it's in the bottom "Community / Find groups". But I find only the "arda" group, not any "Wartune's Arda" group.

For those who can't find the group: It seems last.fm doesn't update their database daily, as I couldn't find those of us who just had joined either. So these are two alternative ways to access our group: #1: log in to last.fm, then copy this url: www.lastfm.de/group/Wartune%27s+Arda to your browser, hit enter and you should be right on the group's page. #2: if #1 didn't work for you for some reason, go to user search (accessible from the group search page, well hidden ) and enter user TrueSteel. That will take you to my profile. There scroll down the page (very far, this packrat's got a lot of stuff in his sidebar) until you see my groups. Wartune's Arda is the first entry, hit it et voilĂ . Btw, once our first charts got settled on Sunday, we'll be getting our own radio station. So, if you don't want to get only the weird stuff there I'm usually listening to, get your scrobbler and start to contribute to our station It won't cause much traffic and won't pose any privacy or security issue, as the scrobbler will only submit the metadata of the tracks you've been playing from winamp, foobar or windows media player to last.fm.

Hi everyone, I added some new stuff today: 2 guides to begin with (am already working on more) and 2 fresh music events, check it out And please, it would be real nice if you scrobbled the music you're listening to, that might get our radio station going too. I checked why I kept getting errors when testing it and it seems, the minimum of 45 tracks by 15 different artists need to be ones that are available for full track play on last.fm. Apparently the stuff I'm scrobbling up is too obscure to get it started, and then, I think you might want to show off your good taste in music on our station too
